Ryan is a content marketing specialist with WebPT. He has brought his passion for writing and PT advocacy to WebPT to provide accurate and direct content for rehabilitation professionals on everything rehab to keep the profession at the cutting edge of healthcare delivery. He brings to the contributor space over 12 years experience in physical therapy where he is distinguished as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist/Dry Needling.
Formerly a travel PT, Ryan has experienced many settings of rehabilitation that includes private practice outpatient PT, hospital based outpatient services, physician owned PT practice, acute care hospital settings, home health care, skilled nursing, and telehealth services. With a strong desire to interact with tomorrow’s leaders in healthcare, Ryan also serves as a lecturer with the University of Michigan – Flint’s Entry Level PT Program.
Ryan graduated from Purdue University with a BA in behavioral neuroscience psychology where he then went on to receive his doctor of physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Florida. When he is not writing, teaching, or treating patients, Ryan can be found training for another marathon, hopelessly cheering for the Purdue Boilermakers, or spending time with his family outside enjoying pure Michigan’s freshwater lakes, orange traffic cones, and fudge.
