APTA is showing its appreciation
A year after the devastating earthquake in Haiti that left thousands of people severely injured, APTA is showing its appreciation for member physical therapists (PTs) who donated their time, resources, and services to the relief effort. MoveForwardPT.com features the accounts of 8 PTs who traveled to Haiti shortly after the quake. Their stories and photos paint a picture both of tragedy and hope and call attention to the continued and critical need for physical therapist services in the island nation.
