“I was drawn to physical therapy because I liked physiology, sports, and athletics in high school. Plus, I like talking to people, and I didn't want a job where I sat at a desk all day. As an outpatient PT, I worked on countless EMRs, and I even had some clinicals that still used paper charts. My experience using those—sometimes painful— EMRs, gave me a good perspective for understanding who uses the product. With that knowledge, I help to create an intuitive design for the WebPT platform that increases the efficiency of the PT using it."
