Only drafted notes can be deleted. Once a note is finalized, it cannot be deleted by either the clinic or Support. If a note was finalized on accident, the therapist will want to addend and no-charge the visit. Check out our Discover Article for more information on addendum scenarios.
User accounts cannot be permanently removed, but they can be inactivated to prevent login. For a step-by-step guide on inactivating a user and removing a license, check out our Discover Article here and here, respectively.
Note: Making a user inactive will not release the license and you will continue to be billed. To stop paying for an unused license, you must use the Request License Adjustment function to release the license.

In general, cases should not be reopened to continue documentation if a patient unexpectedly returned for treatment on a previous episode of care that has a Discharge Summary, or if the patient returns for treatment for a different ailment. In these instances, we recommend creating a new case and starting a new episode of care with an Initial Evaluation.
