Global PT Day of Service is right around the corner—this upcoming weekend, to be exact. What does that day signify? Well, it means that on October 17, 2015, physical therapists all across the globe are joining together to donate their time in service to their local communities. In the spirit of giving, our founder and COO, Dr. Heidi Jannenga—along with a crew of WebPT employees—will join together with students and other physical therapists across the Phoenix valley to make a positive impact on our community. After all, if there’s anything we love more than helping the PT community, it’s helping the community we call home. That’s why Give Back is one of our company's core values.

But, we didn’t want to stop there; the WebPT Marketplace couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a difference in their own way. (If you’re not familiar with the WebPT Marketplace, it’s WebPT’s one-stop-shop for clinical supplies at discounted prices available exclusively to our Members.) So, in the spirit of giving back, the WebPT Marketplace will donate a portion of sales made on October 17 and 18 to Global PT Day of Service.

We hope you’re as excited about this meaningful event as we are. Be sure to keep an eye on social media, and tag your Global PT Day of Service posts with the hashtag #PTDOS. Want to donate directly to the cause? You can do so through the Center for Global Initiatives. Can’t wait to see how big of a difference we’ll make together!

Spooky, Scary, or Just Plain Fun: Halloween Traditions Across Our Community

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved Halloween. Sure, I’ve been a cat more times than I can count—not the most original or frightening costume, to be certain—but there’s just something exhilarating about donning a mask (or face makeup in my case) and exploring the things that go bump in the night. After all, the ancient Celts—who celebrated Samhain, what The History Channel credits as the “ancient origins of Halloween”—believed that on October 31, “the …

That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with SOLS, a pioneering company in the emerging industry of 3D-printed foot orthotics. Thanks to this partnership—and SOLS’s innovative …

    CEU Shopping Guide

In some social circles, shopping is considered a sport . In others, it’s merely an obligation or simply a pastime. But when it comes to shopping for continuing education units (CEUs), one point most social circles can agree on is that determining the right educational courses is far more important than say, the quest for the perfect pump .
