Great news! Ascend—the ultimate business summit for rehab therapists—is back and better than ever before. Last year, we brought you our first-ever Ascend webinar series in place of our in-person event. And while it was fun connecting with the PT, OT, and SLP communities in such a creative way, we’re super stoked to see everyone in person this year as Ascend speeds into America’s NASCAR hub, Charlotte, North Carolina, for rehab therapy’s can’t-miss annual business conference. Seriously—you’ve gotta be there. Here’s why:

1. You’ll earn CEUs.

On top of sharpening their business acumen, physical and occupational therapists will earn continuing education units for attending Ascend (CEUs pending approval from state APTA chapters as well as the AOTA).

2. Rehab therapy experts will share their secrets to success.

From practice management and marketing experts to rehab therapy compliance gurus and industry leaders, trailblazers from near and far will converge at Ascend to share their secrets to business and clinical success. Not sure whether their insights will apply to you and your professional role? Well, worry not, because we’ve designed the programming at Ascend to be valuable for anyone and everyone in the rehab therapy biz, from clinic owners, managers, and practicing therapists to students, clerical staff, and billers.

3. There are major awards!

The Ascend Practice of the Year and Innovator of the Year Awards are part of the only recognition program in all of outpatient rehab therapy that celebrates practices that have achieved exceptional business results. They’re also two of the few business awards—period—that don’t require an application fee. If you own or work in a private practice and/or outpatient rehab therapy facility, and your organization has achieved noteworthy business results—whether that means growing your revenue or your organization, implementing an innovative new product or service, or advancing the rehab therapy profession in general—then you should definitely apply.

4. You’ll see the most cutting-edge products and services in rehab.

WebPT is proud to be one of the most innovative tech companies in health care. And our commitment to innovation doesn’t stop with our own products. We’re hand-selecting the vendors for Ascend 2022 to ensure these companies arrive ready to showcase—and educate our attendees on—the most cutting-edge, impactful products, services, and technologies in rehab.

5. You’ll meet and network with the industry’s best and brightest.

Networking is essential to building a business and a career, and it’s certainly more rewarding when you can rub elbows with the movers and shakers of your own profession. Ascend brings renowned speakers—who have tons of invaluable experience—together with rehab therapy professionals from a wide range of locations and practice environments. But, everyone is united by their love for the rehab therapy profession and their dedication to business excellence.

Rehab therapists don’t always receive adequate business training in school, but events like Ascend give therapy professionals the tools they need to realize their full potential in the healthcare industry.

6. You’ll prepare yourself and your business to contend with all the major healthcare changes on the horizon.

From the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) to the newest changes to the PTA and OTA payment modifiers, there’s a lot going on in the rehab therapy regulatory space. If you’re feeling a little less than ready to handle all these changes, don’t worry; we’ll tackle as many compliance topics as possible during this year’s conference. This is a rare opportunity to not only understand upcoming developments, but also learn strategies for seeing your practice through the challenges ahead.

7. You’ll get the perfect mix of history and modern entertainment.

Most people associate America’s gold rush with California, but Charlotte was actually the site of our nation’s first gold rush. In fact, North Carolina was once known as the “Golden State.” Since then, Charlotte has evolved into a major financial hot spot, ranking as the second-largest banking center in the country. It also boasts a wide variety of professional sporting teams and events—from NBA and NFL to NASCAR—as well as some of the best barbecue around. And don’t forget about arts and culture: Charlotte has plenty of museums, galleries, and live entertainment options. Plus, you can enjoy ample spring sunshine as you stroll through one of the city’s many parks.

8. Early-bird pricing is still available.

Registration for Ascend includes breakfast and lunch both days, all applicable CEUs, and the opportunity to network with leaders across the therapy industry. Snag advanced pricing now, but hurry! Early-bird tickets are going like hotcakes, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
