PHOENIX, June 21, 2018 – WebPT is delighted to announce that Dr. Heidi Jannenga, PT, DPT, ATC/L, co-founder and president of WebPT, has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2018 Marilyn Moffat Leadership Award, which honors individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and made significant contributions to the physical therapy (PT) profession. The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Board of Directors will formally announce Dr. Jannenga as the winner of the award during APTA’s NEXT Conference and Exposition, which takes place June 27-30 in Orlando, Fla.

The namesake of the award, Dr. Marilyn Moffat, is an internationally recognized PT leader. An NYU professor of physical therapy and former APTA president, Dr. Moffat is known for her educational writings, research, advocacy and clinical excellence. Award nominees are evaluated based on their positive leadership contributions over a period of 15 years or more; lasting impact on the physical therapy profession; and service to the APTA, the local community and the profession as a whole.
