Do you consistently feel underwhelmed when you scroll through Instagram? Maybe your daily foray through your feed is getting a bit repetitive. (There are an awful lot of people who like to take pictures of their food.) Or, maybe you’re just finding yourself a little short-handed on scrollable content. Either way, it may be time to spice up your Insta experience with some inspirational (and sometimes educational) physio goodness by following some of these top physical therapy Instagram accounts.
For Exercise Demonstrations
The Prehab Guys
If you’re interested in watching some exercise variation demos, check out The Prehab Guys! They post a variety of high- and low-intensity exercises. Plus, every post is paired with a detailed description that explains the science behind the movement.

Impact Sports Physical Therapy
Impact Sports Physical Therapy showcases different patients (who are often professional athletes!) performing sport-specific rehabilitation exercises. These videos don’t come with much in the way of explanation, but they’re pretty darn awesome to watch—especially considering these athletes are often performing these exercises post-surgery.

Advanced
For those of you who have an acute case of wanderlust—or just love pretty travel photos—check out this account from Advanced Travel Therapy. It’s chock full of eye-catching travel photography (courtesy of various traveling therapists and nurses)—and each post is accompanied by a little blurb about the location and the featured provider. This account is run by a travel staffing agency, so the pictures are definitely promotional in nature—but who doesn’t love looking at gorgeous, natural scenery?
I Heart Physical Therapy
These PT-specific memes and jokes poke fun at the struggles and triumphs many PTs experience every day. A handful of these jokes are geared toward students—but every PT was a student at one point or another, so you might still get a kick out of ’em.

Achieve Fitness
Achieve Fitness isn’t a PT clinic—it’s actually a regular gym (with trainers). However, I chose to include it in this list because the company has totally knocked its social media presence out of the park. Every post is visually, auditorily, and emotionally consistent with the company brand—and the account posts a lot of exercise demonstration videos that have great production value.
