This year’s Ascend business summit heralded a lot of exciting discussions around innovation and the future of rehab therapy. And because of this, we at WebPT feel it’s important to recognize outstanding clinics that embody the spirit of evolving the profession—no matter what obstacles stand before them.
Each year, WebPT hosts the annual Ascend business summit, and to put a cap on the two-day event, we honor one practice with our Practice of the Year award. The 2019 recipient earned this honor by proving that delivering personalized, innovative care and being a multi-practice organization are not mutually exclusive. With 51 clinic sites (and counting), MedStar Rehabilitation Network, our 2019 Practice of the Year recipient, provides services across Maryland, Washington, DC, and northern Virginia.

Or that we can thank Shakespeare for inventing the word “manager?” (Yeah, that one surprised me, too!) There’s a lot of collective human knowledge that each of us as individuals will never get a chance to learn about—and I mean a lot.
The fifth annual PT Day of Service™ is taking the entire world by storm on October 12. We invite you to join thousands of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, students, and others as we serve our local and global communities.
In our 2019 State of Rehab Therapy survey, 80% of respondents cited payer requirements as the top reason their organizations require physician referrals as a condition of treatment (even in states with unrestricted direct access).
If you’re unhappy with the relationship you have with a payer, you don’t have to stay in-network. Out-of-network providers thrive, too!
In this post, we’re exploring the factors practice owners should consider as they’re creating their marketing plan—and budget.
While you may not be able to prevent someone from sharing their negative perception of your practice online, you can certainly mitigate its impact on others.
