WebPT May Update – Friday, May 27th – Clinic Communication

On Friday, May 27th WebPT will be implementing a few new features to the system. These features are designed to assist our members in communicating more fluidly and more efficiently. All of the changes in the system will be applied to the area in the upper right hand corner of our application where your name appears when you login.

A. Internal Messaging System

Clicking on the envelope icon will now give you the ability to message your staff in real time directly from the app. You will see the blue stamp in the upper right hand side when a new message is available.

B. Idea Portal

Clicking on the light bulb will take you to our new Idea Portal. Here you will be able to make suggestions to improving parts of the system or to introduce new features. All members will be able to submit and vote on the most needed aspects. Once an idea rises to the top, our talented team of developers will get to work on implementing the idea promptly.

C. User Name Drop Down

The system will now give you more options when you click on your name in the top right hand corner. You still have the ability to edit your own information by clicking the ‘My Profile’ link. The three new added functions will give you the ability to:

  1. edit your contacts,
  2. edit your smart text, and
  3. ask for help straight from this area.

Now you can access more areas of the system from one central location.

D. Fee Schedule

This new function is only available for clinics that currently participate in a billing integration with WebPT. Administrators on these accounts will now have the ability to enter in dollar amounts associated with codes to create a clinic fee schedule.

That wraps it up for our new features.  We hope you enjoy the new tools and we appreicate your feedback as always.  90% of the new features that you see each month come from our members.  Our success is your success!

Well, WebPT has formed its own kind of Brady Bunch—one that’s the result of much more than a hunch. You’ve Got Outcomes—Now What?

The launch of WebPT Outcomes is officially complete—which means every single WebPT clinic now has the ability to collect and track patient outcomes data directly within the EMR. And as you may have heard from our president and founder, Dr. Heidi Jannenga, that’s kind of a big deal . But, as Uncle Ben (Peter Parker’s uncle—not the rice guy) once said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” We’d be doing our Members—and the entire healthcare community at …

WebPT + Outcomes: A PT Software Love Story

Developing and launching WebPT Outcomes has been a labor of love—one that’s lasted about 15 months. At times, it felt more like the kind of love you’d have for a sibling—after he or she pushes you off the bunk bed and you split your lip open. You know, that kind of love. But, after lots of triumphs—and just as many fat lips—it’s been wonderful seeing the fruits of our labor come to life. Hello, WebPT Outcomes: the …

That’s why we’re excited to announce our partnership with SOLS, a pioneering company in the emerging industry of 3D-printed foot orthotics. Thanks to this partnership—and SOLS’s innovative …
