It’s another lovely morning here at WebPT and we’re excited to bring you yet another video message. We believe it's important for you to connect faces with the many familiar names at WebPT. More important is for our PT members to know that we're grateful for all they do. As part of our ongoing celebration of National Physical Therapy month, we sat down with our Director of Sales, Matt Wolach. Matt had a few things to share with our therapist members and with the larger community of PTs as well.  Click below to hear what Matt has to say. Also, make sure to check out all the other videos messages we’ve shared with you this month.

But at WebPT, we’re thinking about physical therapists. (To be fair, PTs are pretty much always on our minds.) That’s because the APTA has dubbed October  National Physical Therapy Month , and we think it’s the perfect reason to celebrate professionals who are dedicated …

Giving Back: How Therapists Across America are Celebrating PT Day of Service 2017

They say inspiration happens when you break out of your comfort zone. You’ve likely heard a variation of this adage at some point—and perhaps even found truth in it yourself. For Efosa Guobadia, DPT, the founder of PT Haven , inspiration struck as he gazed upon the winding Amazon River in a remote region of Peru. At the time, the Atlanta-based physical therapist was providing volunteer PT services to the local population when he suddenly had a …

Professional Development: My Recap of Last Night’s #DPTstudent Chat

Last night, I co-hosted the #DPTstudent chat on Twitter, and one of the recurring themes was the idea that you have to actively seek out professional development. I couldn’t agree more. School can provide an excellent foundation; often, it’s an introductory class on professional development that serves as a catalyst for continuing education throughout a student’s career, well after graduation. But setting your own goals and actively pursuing them is a key component of success. As our …
