Two weeks ago we launched our first ever in-person members event called Evolve. This focused, local event gave physical therapists an opportunity to come together and discuss electronic medical records(EMR) software and elements that affect their practice. We were thrilled to have such engaged members and non-members attend. The discussion focused on the day-to-day business of running a physical therapy clinic. We talked about how members currently use WebPT and how it can be improved. Our leadership team also discussed the future of WebPT with a sneak peak at our product roadmap for 2012 and solicited feedback on our ideas.
David Straight of E-Rehab also presented, as a featured speaker, on a variety of marketing best practices for physical therapists, including a deep dive on all the do’s and don’ts for getting one’s physical therapy clinic on the map…Google Maps, that is.
Overall, the feedback on the event was really positive. All the therapists who attended particularly enjoyed networking and sharing ideas with other therapists.
Said one attendee, “It’s great to network with others who are using WebPT and it’s great to get a face of the company. You guys have a great business plan and company. I enjoyed getting to know who is behind the scenes.”
We loved getting to know our members face to face. It was a valuable event for all involved. Thank you to the Arizona members and non-members who came out!
Look for an “Evolve” event in your area in 2012 and let us know where we should visit next. What do you do to network with other physical therapists? How can we help create more community resources for you?
