A: Yes, WebPT is HIPAA compliant. All WebPT information areas are password protected and we require all of the participating therapists to have their own individual login information. WebPT has also taken extraordinary measures to secure your health and personal information by implementing SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is the same internet security system that banks use to protect your banking information and can be trusted to secure your documentation.

Q: We don’t run any type of program now and all of our documentation is hard copy. How difficult would it be to install and set up WebPT?
A: Integration is very easy because the program is web-based. There is no installation required. All you need is a computer with access to the internet in order to get started.

Q: What is the difference between a web-based format and a software system? Why would I choose a web-based system?

Q: How much does it cost?
A: WebPT is not only the best physical therapy documentation solution for outpatient PT clinics, but it is also the least expensive. Q: What about data backup? Will I need to save and backup all of my patient information?

The database, electronic medical records (EMR) and all digital documentation are automatically backed up twice a day to a secured offsite server.

Q: How long will it take for our staff to be trained?
A: Training is very quick and your entire team can usually be trained in about 1 hour. We have meticulously designed WebPT to be very user friendly even to those who may not consider themselves to be computer savvy. We offer online live training, which allows your staff to move through the program, learn how to use all of the functions, and ask any questions you might have. You have the option for newly hired staff to take the online training or to simply learn from your other Therapists. A short online tutorial will be required for all new users due to password initiation for HIPAA compliance. Our support team can always be reached via email or toll-free phone with any further questions once your training is complete.
