 Heidi Wutscher, PT, ATC and Brad Jannenga, a software developer specializing in web-based applications, conceptualized WebPT after searching for a solution to meet the needs of a busy physical therapy clinic. As a practicing physical therapist for over 10 years in the outpatient orthopedic sector, Heidi grew increasingly frustrated with the lack of an efficient, affordable documentation system designed specifically for the physical therapy industry. Finding nothing, the two realized they needed to develop their own program.
After 2 years of development, WebPT launched to fill that void and brought a web-based, affordable, and practical documentation system to the outpatient field. WebPT is now being used across the United States changing the way physical therapists think about documentation.
