Integration is very easy because WebPT is web-based – there is no installation required. All you need to get started is a computer, iPad or smartphone with access to the Internet. We take care of the setup for your entire company on the system, so you can be up and running in as little as one day.
WebPT is very affordable, starting at $49 per month for each PT. Our low monthly fees include support, upgrades and backups. You can store unlimited patients records and documentation notes for no additional cost. Optional features and additional data storage are available. Create physical therapy documentation, update clinic schedules and use any feature of WebPT on your iPad. Work from home, at the office or on the go. WebPT runs on your iPad without any extra tricks or apps – it just works. For intense functions of the system, such as creating an initial exam, the iPad may prove to be cumbersome for you simlpy because of the amount of information you'll need to enter. However, you can use the iPad for a majority of your dailiy needs.
The optional WebPT eDoc module creates an online file to upload external patient documents (e.g. scanned documents, digital X-ray files) to the patient record. This creates an Electronic Medical Record with complete history. With WebPT eDoc, everyone on your team can access all patient documents in one place.
Yes, WebPT supports PRQS reporting. WebPT is one of only two PQRS Certified Registry systems specifically designed for physical therapists. We obtained our certification in 2009 and continue to work with CMS to maintain compliance with our reporting tool that is fully integrated within the WebPT application. Meeting PQRS compliance is easy with WebPT. Your therapists simply answer a few extra questions and the data is collected and stored for your clinic and prepared for electronic submission upon the end of your claim period. Collecting measure data and maintaining 80% compliance is done automatically in WebPT.
WebPT can be used securely where ever you are connected to the Internet. This includes wireless Internet in your office, wireless at home, mobile Internet on your smartphone (iPhone, Android and more) or Apple iPad.
WebPT currently offers HEP as part of our main documentation software system. HEP is accessible from anywhere in our system and is viewable from our flowsheet page. For deeper integrations into our flowsheet and patient information, watch for future version releases with exciting new features.
Yes. Any user of WebPT is welcome to contact Customer Support should they encounter issues or if they have questions regarding our system.
Logging on to WebPT through an iPad, iPhone or other web-enabled devices is the same as accessing the system through a browser on your desktop computer. All you need is a connection to the Internet. Open the web browser on your mobile device and go to www.webpt.com. Once you are on the site, simply enter your username and password to log in!
NOTE: The capability to add users is only going to be available to those users who have access to our User Manager. If you would like a user to have access to this feature, please call member support.
To add a user you simply click on the 'ADD USER' text in the User Manager (on the left hand side of the page). Set a username and password and contact information. Simply click edit user to save the information. Once this is set, the user should be able to log in to WebPT under their new name and password.
To request that a feature or function be added into the WebPT system you will need to contact support by either phone or email. Once your request is fielded by our customer support staff they will compile your suggestions into a request which will then be evaluated by our Director of Product Development and our development team. We encourage our members to maintain and open line of communication and value your input on improving our system.

WebPT is a web-based physical therapy software, so we are able to make upgrades to the system quickly. These system updates do require occasional scheduled periods where WebPT will be offline. We provide advanced email notifications by email with complete information about the schedule and maintenance process. We normally conduct scheduled maintenance overnight on weekends to minimize inconvenience to our members.
