Today’s post was contributed by our WebPT Support Team Lead, Alex Zarazua. Thanks Alex!
This morning we are happy to announce that WebPT has launched a number of new enhanced features and support tools. For this latest release we received suggestions and feature requests from hundreds of our members. We’re very excited to share our updates with all of you!
Today we are introducing our newly designed Digital Flowsheet. The new Flowsheet has been refreshed to include multiple locations, an easier way to work with multiple patients, faster exercise searching and integration with our Home Exercise Program. In addition, the new and improved flowsheet has been designed with a tablet friendly user interface.
Our Member Support team is excited to announce a new tool that gives members even more access to technical resources. Powered by Zendesk, our new support tool gives our members exclusive access to articles, videos and user guides. Members will also have the ability to create new support tickets and view solved tickets as well. Members can access support by clicking “Help” on the bottom right of the WebPT application.
Other updates include clinical and documentation enhancements, billing additions, new Home Exercise Program videos and pictures, and overall system enhancements. Members have access to a detailed list of improvements by viewing “Discover Ideas in Action” under the Community Icon in the WebPT application.
If you have more ideas on how we can make WebPT better we want to hear them. Email them to support@webpt.com, submit a ticket by clicking “help” in the application or visit our Ideas Portal! -

Today’s post was contributed by our very own, Alex Zarazua. Thanks Alex!
This year has been a busy one at WebPT and as we near the end of 2011, we’re thankful to our members for helping us improve our system. The WebPT elves were hard at work late Friday night implementing new features and enhancements provided to us with the help of over 25 members.
One of our most exciting features is our new Patient Intake Form for those with our front office package. This allows patients to complete their basic demographic information prior to their first appointment, saving staff time during the initial intake process. We’ve also included a widget that enables clinics to host this form directly on their website. -

These past few weeks, the WebPT elves have been hard at work getting ready for our December release. The WebPT Members on Santa’s “Nice” List (which is all of them) will see updates and enhancements in their stockings starting on December 17th.

Upon logging in this morning, thousands of WebPT members across the country accessed a newly improved system. We’re grateful to all of the members who helped make these improvements possible. Over 30 members submitted ideas that were implemented in the release that happened late Friday night! Many members even saw more than one of their ideas come to life.
To all those contributing members--thank you for submitting your ideas and suggestions to us via the Idea Portal. It’s only by leveraging your expertise that WebPT will continue to be the best documentation software for therapists by therapists.
One of the major improvements in this release is custom initial exam profiles. Last week we posted a blog post on our Resource Page of our website that included details about the new feature.
Other updates included enhancements to the Pediatrics module, additional clinical objective tests, additional billing codes, improvements to reporting and alerts, and overall system enhancements. WebPT Members can access the detailed list of improvements in the News & Updates section of the Dashboard.

WebPT is not just a software company. We were created out of a need in the Physical Therapy community under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. We knew early on that our best advice would come directly from our member base. Over the past few years 90% of our new features have been implemented from member suggestions. Today, we're excited to announce a more formal commitment to collecting ideas and suggestions with the introduction of the WebPT Idea Portal.
The Idea Portal is going to take the ‘WebPT Community’ to the next level. Therapists and Staff will be able to click on our Idea Portal link and submit their ideas directly into the system. The ideas will then be sent to a queue that will be prioritized based of member interaction. Every member of WebPT will have the ability to view and vote on suggestions from other members. The best ideas will rise to the top of the queue and be sent directly to our development team.
This feature will also help us keep members more informed on the status of a particular update. You will be able to see if an idea has been scheduled for development and how close it is to completion. Every member will have the ability to cast one vote for every suggestion in the queue.
Our commitment to empowering your clinic just took one more big step. Help us to continue making WebPT the #1 Web-Based Physical Therapy EMR, one member suggestion at a time.
