As most of you probably know, last week was PT 2012, APTA's Annual Conference & Exposition. This year the APTA held the conference in Tampa, Florida, and despite the rainy weather, WebPT was front and center, along with a record-breaking number of therapists, about 1,000 more than last year.

It was so great to see everyone! Thanks to all our Members for stopping by our booth; we always love to hear your feedback. And, for those prospective Members who came by, it was wonderful to meet you and learn about your practice. We can’t wait to put WebPT to work for your clinic.

A special shout out to the new grads we met who used WebPT’s education program and have since recommended our software to their new employers. Happy graduation! Here’s to amazing careers in therapy!

One of our favorite parts of this year’s show was the active social media participation. #PT2012 trended like hotcakes on Twitter. Did you follow? Therapists truly enjoyed the conversation, so much so that they were hashtagging on Tampa’s sandy shores:

Speaking of social media, one of the real PT 2012 showstoppers was Therapydia, a physical therapy directory slash social media site that launched earlier this year. Currently connecting 135,156 therapists, Therapydia’s goal is to unify all 212,000 PTs in the US using social media and mobilize them around key issues to elevate the profession.
