A/R Medical Billing Specialist

Responsibilities:   The A/R Representative will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with A/R medical billing claims, including:

  • Identify and resolve customer and patient billing issues.
  • Review accounts regularly for insurance or patient follow up.
  • Review accounts for possible assignment and also prepare information for the collection agency
  • Perform various collection actions including contacting patients by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers, etc.
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
  • Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
  • Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount
  • Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
  • Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
  • Maintain strict confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Qualifications:  Ideally, the A/R Representative will possess the following key skills:

  • Recent hands on medical billing experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in various billing / front office roles with expanding responsibilities and career progression
  • At least 2 years of A/R experience within a medical billing environment
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes

Accounting Jedi

Responsibilities:  As an Accounting Jedi at WebPT, you’ll be responsible for processing transactions, keeping our systems organized, and performing other regular duties associated with a staff accounting role.

Get ready to fly by the seat of your pants. This role is ever-evolving—just like WebPT—so while you don’t need to be Cirque du Soleil flexible, we may occasionally ask you to do a few cartwheels, or at least try some things outside of your wheelhouse.

Qualifications:  For this position, we’re looking for a candidate with a background and/or degree in accounting, finances, business, or a related field. Additionally, this candidate should demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Think efficiency—be the kind of person who constantly tries to make things better—to do mas with menos
  • Be detail-oriented. Know how to soar at 30,000 feet but also be comfortable diving into the details and getting those hands dirty.

Billing Success Manager

Responsibilities:  The BSM is a liaison for assigned clinics and is responsible for routine communications and monitoring of clinic accounts:

  • Routine communication and updates for assigned client accounts
  • Educating assigned clinics on WebPT billing standards and protocol
  • Oversight of A/R team to identify and resolve customer and patient billing issues
  • Responsible for resolution of all billing issues that may result in the denial or lack of payment of client claims

Responsibilities:  The Customer Support Representative will be responsible for phone and email support of our growing customer base:

  • Respond to a variety of technical and non-technical inquiries with a sense of urgency
  • Politely and pleasantly handle customer complaints / issues
  • Resolve system and data related questions directly
  • Escalate challenging issues to the next level of support
  • Train new users on the system functions

Data Analyst (Implementations)

As a WebPT Data Analyst, you’ll assist with onboarding and billing system integration activities for our Members. You will be part of a cross-functional team, working with Implementation Specialists and EMR/Billing Analysts to import data into the WebPT EMR and set up interfaces between the EMR and billing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a project team, assisting in prioritizing tasks and communicating Member needs to others on the team.
  • Analyze and transform import files supplied by WebPT Members and billing partners using a combination of manual inspection and automated tools.
  • Execute automated import processes, evaluate results, resolve data issues, and transmit files to billing partners.
  • Perform data comparisons between WebPT and various billing systems using a combination of manual inspection and automated tools.
  • Investigate and resolve billing system integration and data-related issues.
  • Respond to support requests from Members and internal teams.

  • Be comfortable working with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel and OpenOffice)

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall Sales performance at WebPT. We are looking for a creative entrepreneurial leader who combines hands-on experience with all Sales functions, and managerial talent to devise strategy and effectively handle complex Sales issues. Ideally, you will have worked in a fast-paced, high growth technology firm, preferably in the healthcare industry.

If you can easily go from a tactical role to a strategic position and be able to articulate strategy to executives and other stakeholders, you will be an excellent fit in our fast growing environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for each sales segment
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for new products
  • Manage all sales activities and all personnel involved in Sales for the company
  • Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
  • Analyze sales statistics and metrics to assess Sales department performance and take corrective action as necessary
  • Establish performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitor performance on a continual basis
  • Generate performance and exception reporting to monitor sales team performance

Responsibilities:  The Payment Poster will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with Physical Therapy medical billing claims, including:

  • Posting large batches of payments.
  • Manages patient or insurance account receivables at a high volume.
  • Reviews patient accounts, marks corrections as needed.
  • Manages patient or insurance inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:  Ideally, the Payment Poster will possess the following key skills:

  • Recent hands on medical billing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience posting large batches of payments.
  • Must understand EOB with denial code review.
  • Must be able to understand Medical Billing, Payment Posting/Cash Posting & Medical Reimbursements.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes helpful.
  • Knowledge of insurance guidelines especially Medicare and Medicaid helpful.

UI/UX Front End Software Developer

As a UI/UX Software Developer, you will be working in a LAMP stack for a SaaS software application in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:  In this role, you will manage software updates and system dependencies, research and understand problems from our users’ perspectives, and perform application support duties as needed. Additionally, you’ll:

  • Maintain and debug existing application code.
  • Assist with the design and deployment of new features.
  • Create highly re-usable front-end components and features using best practices.
  • Deliver components and features fully integrated with unit and functional tests.
  • Work collaboratively with product owners and business analysts to design product user stories.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to manage dependencies and integration points with other backend systems that interact with the components you develop.
